  • hope everyone had a HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

wow… so i FINALLY get to update….i guess i’ll have several different parts…

XMAS PARTY with old hs friends

so we have a potluck over at my friend’s house and got to catch up with
a lot of people… and along with a white elephant gift exchange…and
pat’s gift was probably the most memorable… LOL…

    XMAS EVE

super busy day…was hoping to have lunch with sheila but we called too late
sorry sheila… after lunch amy and i headed over to buy the last minute gifts and hurried back home…LOTS of yummy food

this year for “arts & crafts” we had to decorate cookies….

my xmas cookies i decorated and pat turning a tree into a volcano…it had dinosaur sprinkles…

and after THAT we had to decorate a gingerbread house!  the
siblings teamed up to decorate their own houses… amy and i were
successful… but then our room failed…. too much
snow on our roof…. we were too tired to fix it so our mom tried to reinforce the roof….

    before and after…how sad…

sara and mako went all out on their gingerbread house… even after we opened presents they were still working on it…

and LASTLY we opened presents… the younger cousins were getting a
little restless towards the end…OY….anyway, it’s always nice to spend xmas
    with the fam…

and after NO TIME TO SLEEP… had to do laundry and pack for idaho!

    to be continued….

  • WARNING…if you didn’t like my thumb story you won’t like the following….

so this past monday was my aunt’s birthday….i didn’t get to see her
till the day after…. but when i saw her she had her left thumb
wrapped up… i’m not the only one who injured themselves… except her
wound was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse…. she was helping my cousin with a
science project b/c she was REALLY sick…. so my aunt was cutting some
boards for my cousin and my aunt cut like a ‘u’ shape wound… like
DEEP cut wound to the point where the skin/flesh flapped down and blood
was coming out…she ended up getting stitches and stuff… anyway…
    yeah… luckily she’s okay…. but ouch!

anyway… not much going on here… just kinda doing a lot of
shopping… well more like going, but not really being productive…
only 5 more working days still we have days off! yeah!

    Big Bird
You scored 72% Organization, 43% abstract,  and 79% extroverted!
    This test measured 3 variables.

First, this test measured how organized you are.  Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.

Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint.  For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert.By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and anextrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert wassomebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks moreabout herself.

You are very organized, both concrete and abstract, and more extroverted.

Here is why are you Big Bird.

You are both very organized. You almost alwaysknow where your belongings are and you prefer things neat. You may evenenjoy cleaning and find it therapeutic. Big Bird is never sloppy andalways under control… pretty good for a 6 year old bird livingwithout a family.

You both are sometimes concrete and sometimes abstract thinkers. BigBird can be quite dreamy at times and has no problem using hisimagination. At the same time he is also practical and can bemethodical in his search for answers to questions. You have a goodbalance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but youalso aren’t afraid to explore your dreams and desires… within limitsof course.

You are both extroverts. Big Bird gets along with everyone. He makesfriends easily and always has a positive attitude. You definitely enjoythe company of others, and you don’t have problems meeting newpeople… in fact you probably look forward to it. You are willing totake charge when necessary or work as part of a team.

    The other possible characters are
    Oscar the Grouch
    Bert
    Snuffleupagus
    Ernie
    Elmo
    Kermit the Frog
    Grover
    Cookie Monster
    Guy Smiley
    The Count

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback! Also if youwant to tell me your favorite Sesame Street character, I can total themup and post them here. Perhaps your choice will win!

According to our patented JawamaticTM technology, you are most like Chewbacca in personality.

    Chewbacca
epitomises the idea of a “gentle giant” — someone whosestature is
intimidating but who is actually very kind and caring. Inmany ways he’s
very similar to Han Solo, his best friend, but he’s much more comfortable with his emotions.

Chewie is, in a word, sweet.

(The polar opposite of Chewbacca is Darth Vader.)

  • ANSWER…

    THE STORY…

i’ve done some pretty stupid/not paying attention sort of stuff but
this was one of the worst….. i was cutting a piece of 1-ply rag with
a razor when pain hit… i looked at my thumb… there was a clean cut
and it started to bleed a little… then i looked around for the rest
of my thumb…and there it was… and so i start looking around
    frantically…. washed it off and held it…until i got a bandaid….2
of course… didn’t want it to bleed through…

anyway… yeah.. basically it was a chunk of my skin plus a little flesh sliced off… icky…

thanks everyone for the creative guesses! (actually did look like a loogie! since it was so out of focus…sorry!
