    so randomly i was interviewed by my sister’s bf’s cousin…. she’s
    doing a study regarding asian women who took calculus in hs…. so
    based on certain questions i answered… and it’s funny where life
    takes you…. esp when i thought about all the people that were in my
    calc class… so i’m referring some of my friends to her… anyway…

  • From Sweet to Elite!!!!!!!!

    OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!  i hope all you bruin fans saw the GAME!!!! OMG!!!





    The Tix

    sooooo… when we made it into the sweet sixteen, we considered
    actually going to the oakland regionals…. but checking the tix…
    $200+ and then as the days went by… $300+  so we decided we
    didn’t want to go b/c we didn’t want to pay that much each…



    anyway tuesday rolls around and pat calls me to tell me his old
    roommate called, but didn’t leave a message… and then he called and
    he didn’t leave a message (apparently the day before)…and then he
    just got an e-mail from his old roommate who apparently had a friend
    who had extra tix to the game!  so i got all excited and i was
    cool!  we can go!  but then he tells me that the dude put it
    on craigslist and some lady was interested in them…. so i was oh… i
    guess we’re not going…. and then at around 6 pm pat calls me again to
    tell me he talked to the dude… and that we’ll be getting the tix…
    so the guy fed exed the tix… and pat didn’t have them in had until
    NOON, the DAY of the game!!!!!  anyway it was $300 for the pair…
    not bad… the seats were in the upper section up behind the ucla
    basket…




    The Game(s)

    watched the memphis v. bradley game….towards the end it just looked like bradley was asleep on defense…. so memphis won….


    the ucla game… talk about CRAZY!  in the beginning, it was
    pretty depressing…. but little by little our field goal percentage
    kept going up….and up… 2nd half was better (obviously)…. some
    pretty bad calls by the refs on us… but it was all made up by the
    last few seconds of the game…seriously… the last few seconds…
    everything happened so fast… as pat put it… it was surreal! 
    just watching the whole thing happen before us… and the whole arena
    was in an uproar… i don’t think i screamed that loud…. everyone was
    screaming… and high fiving/tens… it was awesome!  by the end
    of the game my palms were all red and puffy from doing the eight clap
    so many times!  anyway… all in all just one of those comebacks
    that will be in the books…. and DEFINITELY be in my memory many years
    to come!  GO BRUINS! (saturday is a re-match with memphis which i
    hope we can pull off…)

  • Pac-10 Tournament


    yes!  march madness is upon us… and for the past 4 days we’ve
    been watching the pac-10 tournament… and i’m happy to say that we
    have won both the regular season title AND pac-10 tourney… WOOHOO!!!
    hooray for college basketball!
